Work in
the community

As Ginsters continues to grow as a purveyor of fine and tasty foods for all the family, so does our commitment to employing local people, using local produce and supporting positive community spirit.

We’re very proud of our Cornish roots – they’re a big part of our identity and our success over the years – so it makes sense that we look after our heritage and invest in the region’s future.

For example, we’re committed to continued investment in promoting Cornwall’s positive image, putting it on the international map, not only as a great tourist destination, but also as a renowned region for great food… and more than merely the Cornish Pasty! We also like to lead by example by working with local suppliers – a practice which benefits everyone involved.

We have ongoing links with Plymouth University and community colleges at Callington, Launceston, Tavistock and Saltash. Ginsters also provides a hugely successful placement scheme for school students.

What’s more, we’ve helped to create the Agricultural Academy, which helps promote best practice throughout the agriculture and food industries in the South West.

Our door is always open to local MPs, councillors, farmers and community groups, and we welcome discussions about ways we can work together to improve life for everyone.
